At Heads Up, we’re excited to introduce our new Notes in Reports feature! This tool gives practitioners the ability to add personalized notes directly on the charts within reports. Now, you can provide specific insights and contextual notes about your client's data points, from readiness scores to step counts. Customize your feedback, make it visible to clients or keep it internal—control is at your fingertips.

This feature was rolled out on February 7, 2025. If you notice any discrepancies, need updates, or want to share your feedback, don't hesitate to let us know!

Accessing the Feature

  1. Log in as a Practitioner or Client: This feature is available to both practitioners (via the Client Profile) and clients

  2. Navigate to Client Reports: Select a client from your list and proceed to their reports page.

  3. Create a Report or Open a Saved Report: Once you have data showing, you can hover over a reading or line to add a note.

Adding Notes

  1. Hover Over a Data Point: Move your cursor over any point in the report where you wish to add a note.

  2. Add Your Note: Click on the point to open a note box. Here, you can type in your observations or notes related to that specific data point.

  3. Choose Visibility: Decide whether the note should be visible to the client or kept internal. This provides flexibility depending on the nature of the note.

Viewing Notes

  • Indicator on Chart: Once a note is added, the corresponding point on the chart will begin pulsing to indicate the presence of a note.

    • Client Notes:

Additional Features

  • Non-specific Data Point Notes: Notes can also be added to any time on the chart, not just specific data readings. This is useful for noting external factors like changes in medication or lifestyle events which might impact the data.

Upcoming Enhancements

  • Integration with Oura Tags: Heads Up is currently developing features to integrate Notes and tags from Oura directly into the reports in the same interface.

Limitations

  • Notes are not supported for the following metric types at this time:

    • Macronutrients

    • Blood Glucose

    • Fasting Timer

    • Quit Events

    • Sleep

    • Blood Oxygen

Keywords: notes, comments, annotations, analyzer, reports, oura tags
