๐ Step 1: Sync Stelo Data to Apple Health
Open the Stelo app on your iPhone.
Tap the Settings in the bottom right corner corner.
Tap Connections.
Choose Apple Health from the list.
Tap Connect and follow the prompts:
Youโll be taken to the Apple Health permissions screen.
Enable "Turn All Categories On" or select specific ones (e.g., Glucose, Activity, Sleep).
Tap Allow in the top right corner.
๐ Important Notes:
Stelo continuously syncs data to Apple Health, but the readings are always 3 hours behind real time.
Although the Stelo app displays glucose readings every 5 minutes in near-real time, the data available in Apple Health reflects measurements from approximately 3 hours earlier.
This approach helps balance data accuracy with battery efficiency and system performance.
๐ฅ Step 2: Sync Apple Health Data to Heads Up
Open the Heads Up app on your iPhone.
Tap the plus icon (+) in the top right corner.
Select Add Source.
Tap Apple Health.
Tap Connect and Upload.
On the permissions screen:
Enable the categories you want to sync (e.g., Blood Glucose, Steps, Sleep Analysis).
Tap Allow in the top right corner.
Once connected, data will begin syncing from Apple Health to Heads Up automatically.
๐ Sync Timing Tip:
Heads Up typically pulls in new Apple Health data every few minutes, once the Stelo glucose data is available in Apple Health, Heads Up will attempt to sync the data using the Apple Health background observer.
To manually sync the data, open the Heads Up app and pull down on the screen to trigger a sync.
