A few quick steps to create and manage custom tiles on the Heads Up web application...

Hey, all!

Not finding the tiles or data types you are looking for? No worries! The Heads Up web application gives you the ability to create custom data types. Below are a few quick steps on how you can get this done.

Note: Currently, custom tiles/data types are only available on the Heads Up web app.

Step 1: In the top right corner of the app, click the Add Data drop-down, at the very bottom, click Custom, then Create New to open the Add Data pop up:

Step 2: Leave the Data Type set to Create New. Under Name, add the name of your new tile. In the example below, I am creating a Water Intake tile. Next, set the Unit of measure that best correlates to the type of data you're tracking. Note: this unit can be any string of text. In this instance, I will set the Unit to ounces abbreviated as oz., once this is complete, press Save and the tile will appear in the last tile position on the dashboard:

Step 3: Adding new data to your tile. Find the tile on the dashboard and click the plus (+) icon in the top right corner of the tile:

Add the Date & Time, the Value (84 ounces), and any necessary Notes:

How to Edit and Delete Custom Data or Tiles

Step 1: Click the ellipsis (three dots) in the top right corner of the tile, and click Edit / Delete:

Step 2: Editing or Deleting the Custom Tile:

On the Data Feeds screen, ensure the filter is set to Custom and use the Edit or Delete buttons to Edit or Delete your Custom tile. You can remove the tile entirely, or you can update the name or unit preference:

On the Data Feeds screen, ensure the filter is set to Custom and scroll down to the section that lists your Custom data entries. Use the Edit/Delete buttons to Edit or Delete your Custom tile data. You can remove the data entirely, or you can update the value or notes:
