Hey, everyone!

This article shares how to integrate your Garmin data into Heads Up.

If at any point you have questions, please reach out to our support team by email or by using the little blue circle with the white smiling message icon in the lower right corner of the app.

This article was updated on July 25, 2022. If you notice anything out of date or missing, please, reach out to our team at support@headsuphealth.com, and we will be happy to get it updated.

Note: At this time, the Garmin connection can only be made using the Heads Up web application. The connection process is not available on the mobile app; however, the data will sync to the mobile app once connected on the web.

Heads Up currently supports the following Garmin data types:

  • Weight

  • Body Mass Index

  • Body Fat

  • Blood Oxygen

  • Heart Rate

  • Time Sleep

  • Steps

  • Calories Burned

  • VO2Max

  • Resting Heart Rate

  • Sleep HRV

  • Sleep Score

  • Respiration Rate

  • Stress (0-100%)

  • Body Battery (0-100%)

The How-to:

Step 1: Log in to your Heads Up web dashboard.

Step 2: In the top-right corner of the app, click the Connect Data drop-down menu and click Devices & Apps:

Step 3: Select Garmin from the list of Data Sources to open the Garmin Authentication page:

Step 4: Enter your Garmin email address and password and click Sign In:

Step 5: Select which information you would like Heads Up to have access to and click Save:

Step 6: Read the Connect with Heads Up? agreement and click Agree:

Once the connection is complete, you will have the option to add the supported Garmin data types to your Dashboard.

If the check is unclickable, the tile is already on the Dashboard. Make your selection and click Ok:

Step 6: Review your Garmin data on the Dashboard.

If necessary, use the dropdown just to the right of the tile name to select Garmin:

More About the Tiles

A few things to point out about the tiles:

  1. Tile menu (ellipses).

    • Graph Data will open the data on the Reports page.

    • Configuration allows you to change the tile text color and set a goal for your values.

    • Hide will remove the tile from the Dashboard.

  2. Your latest synced value.

  3. Flip the tile to see the last five values and averages.

  4. See previously recorded value.
