Hey, everyone!

Syncing a source to Heads Up is easy; you can connect them from right inside the Heads Up mobile app!

This article will show you how to connect an app and highlight a bit about the tiles Graph page.

If at any point you have questions, please reach out to our support team by email or by using the little blue circle with the white smiling message icon in the lower right corner of the app.

Your Credentials

Before we begin, it's important to note that you must first have access to the account credentials for the app you're connecting to.

You will need the email and password you use for that app. Example: your Oura Ring password and email.

Note: One of the most common connection issues is caused by auto-filling from saved emails and passwords on your device. Ensure during your initial connection that the email you are connecting is the correct one.

Connecting Devices

The connection process is not identical for every connection, but they do follow a very similar process.

If you're connecting to Fitbit, iHealth, MyFitnessPal, Withings, Garmin, or Google Fit, you will be met with the Human API connection screen to Connect to start the authentication process. Complete the processes as directed.

If you're connecting to Keto-Mojo, Dexcom, LibreView, Oura, Apple Health, Biostrap, Biosense, Ketonix, MyMacros+, Cronometer, Levl, or Elite HRV, you will be met with each application's authentication screens. Complete the processes as directed.

First, things, first!

Open the Heads Up mobile app and tap Add Source in the lower menu and then tap the source you'd like to connect to:

From here, follow the prompts as directed by each source, adding your email and password for that device/app, and ensuring you give the appropriate access rights and data should sync as expected.

Once the connection is complete, you will be given the option to add the devices/apps tiles to the dashboard. Click Ok:

Tiles on the Dashboard

Let's take a look at the tiles on the dashboard. The tile shows the last reading synced to Heads Up and the time of the recording.

To see more, tap the tile to open up the tile to open the Graph page:

More About the Graph Page

Using the image below, let's learn some things about the Graph page:

  1. Share your recordings with friends.

  2. Show previous/prior readings.

  3. Adjust graph date range.

  4. Show previous/prior Year, Month, Week, or Day.

  5. The graph in month view. Depending on the view, the cards below the graph show the Avg This Period vs. Avg Last Period, Min This Period vs. Min Last Period, and Max This Period vs. Max Last Period.

  6. Graph page (this page).

  7. Data page: a descending list of all the data.

  8. Settings page: set a goal that displays on the tile face, change the tile source (i.e., back to manual), or change the tile color theme.
