Hey, everyone!

In this article, we're going to cover how to add photos to the Photo Food Journal and comment using the Heads Up mobile app.

Note: You must be a client of a health practitioner who has a Heads Up Pro Account to access this feature.

The How-to

Adding Photos to the Photo Food Journal

Log in to the Heads Up mobile app.

Under the menu located in the top left corner, find and click Photo Food Journal:

Adding a Photo

To add a photo tap the plus icon (+) in the top right corner:

Tap Upload Photo:

To use the Take photo option ensure to click OK so Heads Up can access your phone camera:

After the photo is loaded, set the Date the photo was taken, set the Meal type, write a Description and tap Add:

As soon as your image is added, your health practitioner can review the photo on their end.

Commenting on Photos

Your health practitioner can comment on your photos and you can comment back.

To comment and view all comments, tap Show All:

You can now see all the comments, and reply to them. Type your reply and tap the send arrow icon:

Understanding the Photo Food Journal

In this section, we'll highlight all the remaining PFJ features.

Editing Photos

To edit photos, tap the ellipses (three dots) located in the top right corner of the photo. tap Edit, make the necessary adjustments and tap Save Changes.

Sorting Photos

To sort the photos, tap the sort dropdown and choose how you'd like the photos displayed:

The Calendar View

The calendar view allows you to view which days you've added photos. The days you've added photos are indicated by the food tray icon (see how many you can get):
