Hey, Pros!

This article will share the necessary steps to get your client's InBody data imported from a CSV file.

If at any point you have questions, please reach out to our support team by email or by using the little blue circle with the white smiling message icon in the lower right corner of the app.

Note: The Heads Up team must turn this feature on. If you expect to see the Client Data Import feature and it's not available, don't hesitate to contact support at support@headsuphealth.com, and we will be happy to help.

This article was updated on November 12, 2021. If you see any discrepancies or anything that needs to be updated, edited, or if you just want to leave us some feedback, let us know.

Note: InBody 770 is the only device currently supported. If you have a different InBody device, please reach out to support@headsuphealth.com and we can configure it.

If your practice uses an InBody Body Composition Analyzer, you can now bring that data into Heads Up with a simple Export/Import process! This does not require the (paid) InBody web portal - simply pull data from your device and load it directly into Heads Up.

The Video

For those that prefer to watch instructions, here is a 1-minute video on the import process.

The Written How-to:

  1. Export from the InBody Device. Depending on the InBody device model you’re using, the process is slightly different. Follow InBody’s instructions for your device to load the CSV data file onto a USB thumb drive.

  2. Convert the InBody user ID to the Heads Up user email address. In your InBody device, each user has an ID. Ideally, you can set this ID to be the user’s email address - the same one they use with their Heads Up account. If their InBody User ID is not the same as their email address, then you’ll need to replace the User ID with their email address in the CSV file. You can do so using Excel. If you need assistance with doing this automatically, contact Heads Up support for assistance.

  3. Upload to Heads Up. From the Clients Table, select Import Data > InBody:

Then select your CSV and click Upload:
