Hey, all!

In this article, we will show you how to connect third-party sources using the Heads Up web app.

If you intend on connecting Apple Health, it is important to note that, you must do so using an iPhone and the Heads Up mobile app. Please review this article for further instruction on connecting Apple Health.

The How-to

First things first head over to the Heads Up web app.

In the top right of the app, click the Connect Data drop-down menu and click Devices & Apps:

On smaller screens, the Connect Data button is removed.

To connect devices,, click Connect Devices:

For more on connecting Medical Records, please click here.

On the Add Data Sources popup, make your selection and follow the prompts given on the signup screen.

Note: the login credentials you will use are the login credentials associated with the device/app you are connecting to.

The checkmark on the Add Data Sources popup in the lower right corner of the device tile indicates a successful connection:

Once the connection is complete, you will be given the option to add the data sources tiles to the dashboard.

If the check is unclickable, then the tile is already on the dashboard. Click Ok:

Tiles on the Dashboard

After clicking Ok, the tiles will appear in the order listed in the last tile positions.

You can relocate tiles by clicking and dragging them to their desired local.

Let's take a look at the tiles on the dashboard. Using the image below, let's point some things out:

  1. Change tiles source.

  2. Flip tile to see the last five recordings.

  3. Last five recordings.

  4. Average for the last five readings.

Adding Tiles to the Dashboard

If you need to add tiles, you can do so from your dashboard using the plus icon, located in the last tile position:

Next you will see the Add to dashboard screen, choose your target data type from the Data Sources drop-down, you can either search or use the arrows to sift through and find your desired biomarker:

Once you've selected your biomarker, set your desired goal, default date, tile color, and click Add:

You can now see your newly added metric on your dashboard.

In the event you have multiple sources for one metric, you can easily switch between sources by clicking the source drop-down menu:

The Tile Menu

The tile menu is kept under the ellipses (three dots) in the top right corner of tile.

The tile menu has a couple options:

  • Graph Data - opens the Reports page and graphs the data.

  • Configuration - opens the menu to change your goal or tile theme color.

  • Hide - removes the tile from the dashboard. No worries, no data is lost.

  • Edit/Delete - only available on manual tiles, opens the Edit Data page and allows to edit manual entries.
